FloorLords to Release Feature Film
POSTED ON April 20th, 2009 BY PaulYou may know the FloorLords from their legacy in Boston, or you may know them because of their custom shoe by Saucony. And soon you may know them because of the feature film that they are producing entitled (surprisingly) The FloorLord Movie.
In this article from the Boston Herald, Boston native and writer/producer Scott Ross says:
“Dance movies have come out of L.A. and New York, but none out of Boston. As a city, we’ve never had a movie made to appeal to this kind of audience.”
According to the article, the film is about the “story of an outsider who comes of age through the Boston breakdance scene.”

I can’t find any background on Ross’s company, IM Vision Productions, which means it was probably created for the purpose of making this film. I also can’t find any mention of a director, but I assume that the director would have been signed on before the auditions were held last week.
Regardless, a film by and about a respected b-boy crew seems like a film to support. Should be interesting to see the final product.
